Aj’a Wilson: Certified Bucket

All-around Basketball player. Winner. Certified Bucket. Fierce Competitor. Future Hall of Famer.

Since High school, Aj’a has dominated her competition and put herself on the top with her spectacular play.

High school: Three time South Carolina Independent Schools Player of the Year/Parade All-American 2013-2014/ Mcdonald’s All-American 2013-2014/ 2014 National High school Player of the Year(WBCA, Naismith, Parade).

Internationally she has done amazing things some people only dream of. In 2013, Aj’a won the FIBA U19 (under 19) World Championship gold medal.

In 2014, she won the FIBA Americas U18 gold medal and was named MVP as well.

In 2015, she repeated as FIBA U19 World Champions and won MVP. In 2015, she was named USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year.

In 2017, she made the USA Basketball U23 National Team. She was in high school doing these things!!!! That should tell you about her greatness.

Aj’a has an Historic college career that is overlooked a lot, and she dominated as usual.

In her freshman year at South Carolina, Aj’a was the SEC player of the year, named to the SEC All-Freshman team, etc. She had a great year.

Her sophomore year was even better. She was named SEC Player of the year again, SEC Defensive player of the year, SEC all-tournament, was an Naismith Award Finalist, Wooden Award Finalist, Wade trophy Finalist.

Her Junior Year was amazing. Once again she was named SEC Player of the year, named NCAA Final Four MOP, SEC Tournament MVP, SEC Defensive All-Team, was again an Wooden Award Finalist, Naismith Award Finalist, Wade Trophy Finalist.

Her Senior Year was one for the record books.

She was SEC Tournament MVP, SEC Co-Defensive Player of the year, named SEC Player of the Year( the first three time selection in league history!!!!!).

She won the Honda Sport Award for Basketball, recipient of the Wade Trophy, was Consenus National Player of the Year by numerous media outlets, won the Naismith Trophy and the Wooden Award.

To make it even more legendary, Aj’a won the National Championship in her senior year. It was their first championship in school history. That’s GOAT Status.

WNBA Career so far: With the first pick In the 2018 WNBA Draft, The Las Vegas Aces selected Aj’a Wilson from the University of South Carolina.

In 2018, She was named WNBA Rookie of the Year. Named to the WNBA All-Star team as a ROOKIE. You know you are great when in your first year in the league, you are an all-star. Greatness at its best.

2019, She was named an all-star for the second consective time. Named western conference player of the month, etc.

As of the 2020 WNBA Season, A’ja was named WNBA MVP( Most Valuable Player).

Aj’a Wilson is a Great basketball player and is just getting started to reach her ultimate potential. 🐐💯💯💯
